Senior Developer (m/f/x) Technology Test Engineering

Your tasks at FFT

• Technical coordination, implementation and control according to customer or internal specifications

• Concept development and feasibility check

• Software development C/C++, Python, PHP, Kotlin, Java, Qt, MySQL, LabView (or parts thereof)

• Further and new development of sensor systems in hardware and software

• Comprehensive system development (hardware-related programming, communication protocols, interaction with higher-level systems, e.g. for quality assurance or visualization)

• Collaboration in development and research projects in the field of Internet of Things (IoT) for industrial applications

• If necessary, programming of machine controls based on Siemens S7 or Beckhoff

• Commissioning of the systems on site, start-up support

• Creation of project documentation and support of project management in customer and supplier communication

• Supporting the central IT department in the administration of the existing IT infrastructure

Your qualification

• Degree in engineering, computer science, physics or similar

• Relevant professional experience of at least 5 years

• Knowledge of relational database systems and Siemens S7 and/or Beckhoff machine controllers

• Several years of experience in software development

• Business fluent in written and spoken English
